Bridesmaids

Andrea Mendoza

Andrea Mendoza Sister of Bride - Matron of Honor
Wichita, KS
Growing up people always thought we were twins (or that Andrea was older). Neither of these assessments were correct, but one thing is certain, I don't think two sisters could have a closer relationship. We have so many wonderful memories playing together as kids, attending the same college, and multiple trips to and from Georgia when I moved away. She has always been there to encourage me and give me a good laugh when I need to lighten up. I couldn't ask for a better sister and friend!

Carrie Carlson

Carrie Carlson Sister of Bride
Lincolnville, KS
Although there is a large age gap between us, we have grown to become good friends over the years. If I ever want to pull a prank or need someone to keep a secret, Carrie is my go to person! She is always up for an adventure and having fun. Not to mention she makes the best desserts of anyone I know! I am so proud of her and everything she has accomplished thus far and can not wait to see what is in store for her in the years to come.

Melissa Williamson

Melissa Williamson Friend of Bride
Boston, MA
Our story began at Southwestern College. She has been by my side ever since encouraging and challenging me along the way. I am so grateful that even though our lives have taken us to different parts of the USA that we are even more connected today than when we first met. I can not think of anyone who has had a greater impact on my spiritual walk then Melissa and I am proud to call her both sister and friend. My life is richer because of having her in my life.

Natalie Coers

Natalie Coers Friend of Bride
Gainesville, FL
Natalie and I bonded instantly as roommates when she came to get her masters at UGA. Perhaps this bond was because we are both Midwesterners, enjoy running, hiking or the fact that we share the same name. I have so many fond memories of hours spent in the kitchen experimenting with new recipes. I am so grateful that we had the time together as roommates and continue our friendship - even though she is in Gator country now.

Cassie Dunford

Cassie Dunford Sister of Groom
Denver, CO
My (Andy) little sister. If you have spent any more than a second with Cassie you know she is the life of the party. Always looking to not only have a good time, but making sure others are having a good time with her. As the only person in this world that got me up on a pool table at a bar dancing, I can safely say, her incessant desire to live life to the fullest brings such fun to my life.

Andrea Mills

Andrea Mills Friend of Groom
Fort Wayne, IN
I (Andy) have always said that Andrea isn't just my best friend's wife, but she is my second best friend. In so many ways I know for a fact CJ and I wouldn't be the friends we are today with out Andrea in his life. The shear amount of time she has let me crash at her house (even right after having a baby), and all the times she just shakes her head as her husband and I revert to immature high school mode is nothing short of being the coolest (soon to be 2nd coolest) wife in the world.

Aimee Wiley

Aimee Wiley Friend of Bride
Athens, GA
We met the first Sunday Aimee came to visit Classic City Community Church over two years ago. She accepted my invitation after church that day to go to Lowe's to look at flowers for my yard and then started to crash at our house when coming to Athens before eventually becoming an official roommate. Aimee and I have shared many wonderful talks as we walk the short distance (4 mile round trip) to the "nearby" ice cream shops. She has one of the biggest hearts for service of anyone I know and I am thankful for her.

Flower Girls

Katherine & Layla Mendoza

Katherine & Layla Mendoza Nieces of Bride
Wichita, KS
I didn't know you could love two little girls so much until Katherine and Layla entered the world. They are full of so much life and energy. Whether in person or via Skype, I enjoy every minute I have with them. They often ask for Andy and want to know if we are getting on an airplane to come play with them. We are so grateful they get to be a part of this special day for their Aunt Nannie and Uncle Andy.

Ring Bearer

Asher Mills

Asher Mills "Nephew" of Groom
Fort Wayne, IN
Asher's story in my life begins before he was even in this world. With the legendary words out of my mouth one Friday night in the condo at Hilton Head to Andrea, "I want you to have this baby tonight," Asher must have heard me and he didn't dissapoint. But his entrance into this world was just the beginning. Whether it is him insisting that "Uncle Andy" flies a plane to work, or his wicked awesome style (see above), this kid brings such joy and fun to our lives.

Groomsmen

CJ Mills

CJ Mills Best Friend of Groom - Best Man
Fort Wayne, IN
I don't even know where to start with this guy as any description would fail to describe the shear amount of love and joy he has brought to my life. He has been my best friend for over a decade. In that decade we have traveled the world together, I have been at the birth of his kids (including once driving them to the hospital), and spent practicaly every vacation second I have with him, Andrea and his family. He has inspired me in ways I can't describe and I truly honored to have him by my side on the second most pivitol day of my life.

Michael Borgmann

Michael Borgmann Brother of Groom
San Francisco, CA
My baby brother. I think it is a fair statement that if you would have told me in High School that there would be few people I would enjoy spending time with more than my little brother, I would have told you you were crazy. But that is exactly how life turned out. Whether it was on stage in the theatre or out in Silicon Valley, I am always impressed with his ability to go into any situation, with any group of people, and instantly connect with people. I am incredibly proud of him.

David Paparelli

David Paparelli Cousin of Groom
Grenada, Nicaragua
David was the first baby I knew and loved. Weird way to start, right? Well if you know how much I love babies, not quite as weird. Ok, it was still weird. But anyways... From "Baby David" to the man he is today, I have always had a special place in my heart for him. He is that rare combination of intelligent, compassionate, and hilarious! I couldn't be more proud of his work in developping nations and helping do his part to bring people out of poverty in the name of Christ.

Nick Paparelli

Nick Paparelli Cousin of Groom
Tuscaloosa, AL
Out of all of the cousins, I usually tell people the best of us is Nick. And this is not because he chose to go to the University of Alabama. Roll Tide! His compassion and loyalty towards everyone he comes in contact with truly makes him one of the greatest people I know. His wittiness and sense of humor always keeps you on your toes. No matter what Nick does in life, he will always be surrounded by people who love him because he first loved them. It's a rare quality in this world, and I am blessed to have him in my life.

Charlie Paparelli

Charlie Paparelli Uncle of Groom
Atlanta, GA
There have been few people - if any - in my life that have been as influential as Charlie. He has been an amazing mentor, role model, and follower of Christ for literally as long as I can remember. And even in the midst of some of our legendary heated "discussions," I have enjoyed every second I get share in his presence. I know with out a doubt, my life is inifiently greater having lucked out being born into his life.

Glenn Davenport

Glenn Davenport Friend of Groom
Atlanta, GA
The extermely rare mix of generosity and hospitality that seems to be second nature for Glenn (and Hollyce) makes them some of the greatest people that I have ever known. His business acumen and his desire to pass on what he has learned makes him one of the greatest mentors I have had. And his family and friendship has helped make Atlanta feel like home better than just about anybody. If at the end of my life I can be half the businessman, father, grandfather, friend, and Christ follower that Glenn has been, I will be very proud of my years in this world.

Kyle Thomsen

Kyle Thomsen Friend of Groom
Sacramento, CA
Kyle and I first met Freshman year of college as we were fortunate to be on 1st West of Smith Hall together. Over the years we bonded over our love of biblical debate and raquetball - both of which I assure you I always bested him in. But in all seriousness, to this day there are few people in this world that I respect more in their passion for Scripture, the grace in how they communicate it, and the love they have for those they minister to than Kyle.

Allen Hunt

Allen Hunt Friend of Groom - Honorary In Absentia
Atlanta, GA
I always said I didn't really care who showed up to my wedding, but then Allen told me he could not make it due to a previously scheduled engagement, and I had to eat those words a bit. Allen was my first "boss" in the real world and I still haven't decided if that was a blessing or a curse. He was the greatest boss I could have ever had and now one of my closest friends. Not only that, but after, well I don't know, but it's got to be like 100 years of marriage, he still loves Anita like they were teenagers. I probably wouldn't be here today if it weren't for Allen becuase not seeing what he had with Anita, I probably would have married someone else. As he always said, "you don't marry the one you can live with, you marry the one you can't live with out." And while I know I have found that now, it is my prayer that I live up to the model Allen put forth.

Justin Metcalfe

Justin Metcalfe Friend of Groom - Wedding Videographer
Colcord, OK
Justin was hired to replace me at Mount Pisgah after I left to focus on the Allen Hunt Show full time. With out a shadow of a doubt this kid was more talented than I was. Apparently he is also more talented at putting on a wedding because a lot of our wedding is a copy of his. But beyond that he is a great friend. With a crazy sense of humor and a love for baseball that you just can't find anywhere else, Justin (or Atlanta "CJ" as Julia likes to call him), is one of my favorite people in this world. He won't be up front but you'll see him wandering around with a camera - and after you see the video - you'll see why that is a much more important role.
